Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining floors and carpets as needed per customer requirements. The qualified candidate will have experience in all aspects of floor care to include: VCT, stone, marble, ceramic tile, and carpet maintenance. Responsibilities also include: detail janitorial work (such as) window washing, pressure washing and various other types of specialized cleaning. The qualified candidate should have a good working knowledge of different types of floor equipment (e.g. floor machines, buffer, auto-scrubber, extractor, etc.) The candidate will report directly to the Supervisor of a specific service area.

Responsibilities and Duties:​

  • Sweep, mop, buff, scrub floors as needed

  • Strip floors as required

  • Apply floor finish in a professional manner

  • Wash windows using a squeegee or tucker pole

  • Pressure wash/steam clean

  • Vacuum, dust, and perform other janitorial duties as required by the supervisor

  • Carpet care

  • Completes work assignments in a timely manner

  • Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to company procedure

  • Follow company policies

  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule including and not limited to nights and weekends

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Able to stand for long periods of time

  • Able to follow rules

  • Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30-50 pounds

  • Ability to crouch, kneel, and crawl

  • Able to pass background test

  • Must have valid driver's license

  • Minimum of one year of floor cleaning experience
